Bella Soleil is a grown-up fruity floral, with emphasis on the floral—vibes of a wealthy woman on vacation: cocktails poolside, but nothing too frou-frou.
Strong on the mango & prickly pear at first, the jasmine and osmanthus then curl around each other, taking the sharpness from the jasmine and deepening the osmanthus. The middle notes really are the show, here, and have good lasting power.
The musky, ambery dry-down is very pleasant, and the jasmine lingers so the scent doesn’t transform into something else and go away, as many do. As long as it smells, you can smell its heart.
The box is beautiful. The bottle is beautiful. The whole experience feels like stepping onto the lanai on a grown-up tropical vacation. I’m a fan. I want to go on the trip to match.
