Warm, sweet, rich comfort

It’s took me several weeks sitting with this one to be able to write about it, because I was totally taken with it.

Amberbee is sweet, but not confectionery. It’s organic, but not animalic. It’s honey, but with the comb, and with just a touch of something…salty? It’s earth, and resin, and depth, and wood, but it brings out the sweetness of all of those elements, and on the skin, it melts into something you just want to nuzzle.

The lack of alcohol in the formulation means that the first spray doesn’t scream at you, and that the heart notes shine through quicker, but first spray still has a lovely moment of bergamot, with an almost milky tea feel. The dry-down isn’t a huge change, but becomes a little more woody and powdery. Lovely.

I have worn this to work, to sleep, and to do nothing, and I love it in every situation. I will absolutely be buying a full size bottle.
